Travarica

= brandy made from grass and herbs.

Nice beginning to a traditional Bosnian meal of chavapi!
(I know, I know... It's not 'normal' to eat Bosnian food in Croatia. But why not?)

Do I have the right kind of grass in my yard? I think Dad would have fun trying this . . . his grapevines are still too small to make wine.
